Summit 2026

The second UK Postgraduate Diversity Summit will be hosted by the University of Leeds at Cloth Hall Court on 12 May 2026 (09:00-17:00).

The 2026 Summit theme, Celebrating progress and planning next steps, recognises the huge strides made toward enhancing equity in postgraduate study and research over recent years. The Summit theme also seeks to foster dialogue about where we go next by building on our successes.

We will once again bring together, researchers, practitioners and students and curate a diverse programme of papers and presentations. The 2026 Summit will also create space for delegates from across the higher education sector to work together and co-create tangible solutions to shared issues through interactive workshops. We want these workshops to reflect the real-world challenges delegates are facing and so we are collating suggestions using the Padlet here.
